Day 3 – ABA RCC

Another day of too much to choose from and deciding where to go. It has been a challenge to pick classes lots of good topics to choose from this year. Focus today seemed to be on the compliance officer and compliance teams in general. Couple of key takeaways from today: Communication There can never be too much outreach and communicating often is necessary. However, communicating with a purpose and the right medium is important. Day 2 – ABA RCC

Welcome from Orlando and day two of the annual ABA Regulatory Compliance Conference. It was a jammed packed day of listening and learning from boots on the ground peers. My focus today was on a variety of topics; from CRA modernization, Patty Joyner’s take on today’s hybrid work environments, UDAAP, and the evolution of risk framework. It was hard to choose what sessions to attend. There were so many great topics to choose from. However, […]

Day 1 – ABA RCC

There is strong emphasis on technology and its impact on compliance, CRA, and Section 1071 implementation. Following are a few topics, listed by day that caught my eye, […]

ABA RCC – FROM A FIRST TIME ATTENDEE’S PERSPECTIVE (DAY 2)

If you will recall from my recap of Day 1, I’m not typically an early riser.  My day started as early as the conference would allow me with a Power Hour session provided by Treliant.  The speakers for “Seven Steps to Avoid Redlining” were Carl Pry and Susanna Tisa.  This session had a lovely continental breakfast provided, and lots of really informative discussion about…you guessed it, avoiding redlining!  I think my favorite takeaway from this […]
