TRID Rounding Issue – Need Cure?

    If we disclose an Origination Fee on the LE and it rounds the amount down (i.e. – .50% = $100.25 shown as $100 on the LE) and then on the CD it lists the actual amount of $100.25, does that require a tolerance cure since the Origination Fee is a 0% tolerance?

    Patty,
    If the difference is due to rounding that is required on the loan estimate then you would not need to reimburse. See comment 1026.38(i)-2.
