    A question we received:
    “Is there anything to prohibit a bank from having a construction-to-perm product, AND to offer construction only loans (when they might not want to go perm with us but go perm with secondary market investor instead)?”

    Answer by Jack Holzknecht:
    There is no problem with offering both a construction-to-perm product and a construction only product.
