If a loan is denied within 3 days, do either reg B or Z allow the appraisal notice to not be provided because the application was denied? Thought that was allowed, but now can’t find it. Is it correct that if the apraisal notice is required, it doesn’t matter whether it originates or not, the notice must be provided, and whether or not we obtained an appraisal?

I have not seen an exemption to providing the notice under either regulation.
