I have a HMDA loan that has two quadraplexes, totaling 8 units. The two buildings have one street address and sit adjacent to each other. Do you know where I can look to find some guidance on how to classify this property, either as a 1-4 dwelling or a multifamily dwelling? Thank you you very much for your help. Have a great day. ❓
Would these buildings be comparable to an apartment complex or a condo unit? Then I’d consider it a multifamily dwelling. If they’re just quadraplexes with different addresses the I’d consider it a 1-4 family dwelling.
