If a broker provides the borrower with the LE, Then the broker information is populated onto the LE and the Lender section is blank. Once the broker locks the loan or decides who the lender is, the Lender info is supposed to be disclosed on the revised LE. What info is required to be disclosed for the Lender? Some investors are asking for all info to populate for the lender but one of the fields is loan officer. I we populate the LO, It appears he works for our bank and not the broker. I thought just the Lender name was required and maybe the NMLS for the lender organization. The only thing I could find from the CFPB is the name and address should be disclosed but there is no address line on the LE for the Lender. Any help is much appreciated.
