If we have a client that needs to complete a Homeownership Education Course, does the Fannie Mae course https://www.fanniemae.com/education qualify?
We usually have the client complete the Framework course https://learn.frameworkhomeownership.org/learning-paths/framework-homebuyer-ed-course, but I think it is ridiculous to have clients pay $75 if we can provide it for free on the Fannie site.
I realize we can’t make them use framework, we just tell them it is a course we’re aware of but that they can search for other providers.
The answer to this would need to come from the investor and/or program that is requiring the course. Not having the details behind this request does not allow for better answer.
