Our bank is looking at trying to generate more non-interest income. I see that several competitors are utilizing a rewards program linked to their debit card use. We had slightly looked into it once before but never delved very deep in. Is anyone else’s bank using this type of rewards program to drive debit card usage and interchange income? If so can you recommend companies that you have paired with for this program? We have reached out to CSI who is our core processor and they do not have this capability internally. Are there any downfalls that you have ran into using a program like this?
