The Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (eCFR) is a web version of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) that is updated daily to better reflect its current status. It has been a valuable compliance research tool since its inception. Recently the eCFR has been updated (currently in beta testing) to provide the capability to explore the Code of Federal Regulations at a point in time. With the system you can:
- View and search the current eCFR content;
- View the eCFR as it looked at any point (currently 2017 onward, with plans to add more historical data in the future); and
- Review, in “red-line” format, what’s different between the two time periods.
An already valuable tool is now even more valuable.
