On October 10 the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) published a rule that completes portions of the proposed rule, issued last May, to revise the Regulation C coverage thresholds and complete partial Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act (EGRRCPA) exemptions.. On August 31, 2019 the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) announced the availability of data on mortgage lending transactions at 5,683 U.S. financial institutions covered by the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA). Covered institutions include banks, savings associations, credit unions, and mortgage companies.
