Our bank has a threshold dollar amount where we give credit and do not investigate. It applies to disputes in aggregate up to $25 per dispute filing. We are looking at possibly changing that and we are wonder what threshold other bans use. Does your bank have a threshold cutoff where any disputes below that threshold dollar amount are given final credit and the item(s) are not investigated? If yes, what is the dollar amount and is it per disputed item or a total of all disputes reported at one time?Does your bank conduct its own investigation or do you pay a third party to do the investigation?
