So would you consider a second home, not otherwise used for commercial purposes, to be personal property and included in these rules? I am thinking Yes, but I really hate to make this even more complicated for our commercial lenders.

This is what I have advised we use and what we have been using all along but for some reason we are getting some push back from processing. Our software, Encompass, calculates LTV, CLTV, and HCLTV. Process is questioning why we report HCLTV instead of CLTV since the HMDA Screen on Encompass asks for CLTV specifically. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.

We have this language disclosed on the Note in the Payment section:
“Any accrued interest not paid when due is added to the principal and thereafter will accrue interest as principal.”

Do you think we would be covered with this?
