On the HUD-1 lines 1107 & 1108,RESPA required us to split out the agent’s portion and the underwriter’s portion of the total title insurance premium which included both lenders and owners. I do not see this addressed specifically in TRID. Are we still required to show this split? If we still need to do this I assume Lenders will be in Section B or C for Lenders Title and Section H for Owners Title.
Comment 1026.37(f)(2)-4: Section 1026.37(f)(2) and (3) requires disclosure of the amount the consumer will pay for the lender’s title insurance policy. However, an owner’s title insurance policy that covers the consumer and is not required to be purchased by the creditor is only disclosed pursuant to § 1026.37(g).
