Can you tell me when an occupancy statement is required? I know it is for owner occupied 1-4 family dwellings. We have Laser Pro and it normally prints the disclosure when the property is listed as owner occupied, but when we have a mobile home and land it doesn’t print. I have contacted Laser Pro and they stated to contact your compliance officer. I have looked through the regulations, and I can’t find the answer. Is the occupancy statement required if you have a mobile home with or without land?
I am not clear on the form you reference. If you are referring to the a statement that indicates that the borrowers occupy the dwelling, the form is not required by any of the “compliance regulations.” Generally the form is required by the investor or under the requirements of a specific GSE program.
