My loan officer was in the process of renewing a Business Real Estate loan for her customer that was secured by a rental property. As part of our regular procedures she requested the appraisal to be ordered. In the mean time, the customer decided to deed the house to her daughter who had been renting it and put her daughter on the loan making now creating a TRID loan. Can we still charge for the appraisal even though it was ordered before the Loan Estimate was given?
