We have had an “American National”/ “sovereign citizen” come into our bank and want to open a checking account. We don’t have a good feeling about this. He has an American State National ID, he says he has a social security number. Is there anyway we wouldn’t have to open this account without being discriminatory?

The best way to not be discriminatory would be to follow your CIP/CDD rules. BSA/AML rules are not considered discriminatory.
