The National Defense Authorization Act was passed by the Senate after a Presidential veto. It contains provisions that have future implications for our BSA programs on beneficial ownership, CTRs and SARs. During this webinar we will break down the bill and do a section by section look at the money laundering piece and what it can mean to you. Plus there are two other regulations pending and will be covered. The recordkeeping rule for convertible virtual currency and the reduction of limits for funds transfers and monetary instruments. Deborah L Crawford is the President of Gettechnical Inc. a Virginia/Louisiana based training company. She has been an instructor and a banker for over 30 years. She obtained her bachelors and master’s degrees from Louisiana State University. Her specialty is the deposit side of the financial institution including BSA, IRAs and deposit regulations. Over the years she has been an instructor for many state associations and leagues.
