Do you need our Flood Insurance for Cancelled Communities Webinar Recording?
On June 20th of 2018, the following states have communities are scheduled to be suspended from the National Flood Insurance Program because of noncompliance with the floodplain management requirements.
Florida, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon and Washington. You can find a list of specific communities below.
- Do you have loans secured by a building or mobile home in any of these counties?
- Do you know how to determine if the suspension is finalized?
- Do you know how to determine if the community is reinstated?
- Do you know the impact on your outstanding loans?
- Do you know your options for mitigating the flood risk?
- Do you know the impact on your ability to make new or renew existing loans secured by a building or a mobile home?
- Do you think maybe you should purchase our webinar/manual entitled Flood Insurance for Cancelled Communities?
We have a two-hour webinar recording that explains the requirements of communities to take adequate floodplain management measures and how a community falls into a suspended status. In addition, we will look to see how a community can be reactivated once a suspension occurs. The program will explain why your financial institution should track these community suspension notifications and what steps you must take if you lend in a suspended community. Also, how does a community suspension impact those loans on your books that are in the community and have flood insurance coverage under the NFIP? Participants will receive a detailed manual that serves as a handbook long after the program is completed.
