As part of an internal audit it was noted that all of our loan documents our customer signed has an incorrect zip code. Unfortuneately this loan is a secondary market loan that has already been registered on MERS and sold.
I know I need the Note, the Deed and the closing disclosure amended. What should I do with the rest of the documents. Also, does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with the MERS registration. We no longer can edit the MERS since the investor has picked this up.

We agree you should amend the documents in your control. The MERS manual has a section on quality assurance procedures (beginning on p. 30) and contact information for a helpline that might be helpful to you: https://www.mersinc.org/join-mers-docman/1036-mers-system-procedures-draft/file.
