Regulations may allow for the waiver of certain requirements. If a waiver is utilized it is important to document the details of the waiver. Waiver forms are an effective way to document the reasons and details for utilizing a waiver as permitted by regulation. The Regulation B Appraisal Waiver Form is used to waive the standard timing requirement for delivery of an appraisal or valuation as outlined in Regulation B, 12 CFR 1002.14.
